In his early 20’s after a life altering experience with western medicine in which doctors wanted to administer Chemotherapy for a Auto-Immune Response his body was having, Robert sought out alternatives & began studying/learning about the philosophies & principles of the east such as Ayurveda, Qi-Gong, Yoga, Reiki, Meditation & other self-healing modalities such as the neurological benefits of creating art & playing music. While the healing process was not quick by any means, he began healing himself through Research, Alternative Practices, Diet, Attitude & Lifestyle changes. Robert has begun to offer healthy lifestyle options for others through offering private sessions in teaching ways to eat better, practicing deeper meditation through sound & learning the benefits of artistic expression through music & art. Sacred Sound Workshop
A series intended to hold a space in which ancient & modern insights involving sounds influence on us as human beings may be shared along with the application of a variety of self-healing techniques to be directly experienced in a group environment. These techniques/ tools are brought forth to create a sense of community and include exercises such as Shamanic Breath-Work, Vocal Toning & Yoga followed by an Open Sonic Meditation with Quartz Crystal/ Tibetan Singing Bowls, Gong, Chimes & other Harmonically Rich Sounds. Each tool guides an individual towards “Self-Empowerment” as once learned the tools are easy to apply and with discipline can be privately practiced to help anyone remain more physically relaxed, emotionally balanced, & mentally focused as daily life goes on.
A workshop series on insights and simples practices to strengthen the mind body connection within one of our prime sensory inputs as human beings, our eyes! Today with the advent of the smartphone and laptop computers we now spend more and more amounts of our time scanning a screen of information. Bringing practice & awareness to this area of our central nervous system allows for an easy way to relieve stress and develop greater sensitivities to our experience of life.
